This job will put you at the very heart of our mission to enhance the lives of our residents and enable them to enjoy life to the full as individuals in happy, comfortable and safe surroundings.
We have a team of activities coordinators looking after multiple residents in several communities. It's a busy role. You need to be highly organised with good time management skills. A caring and compassionate nature is essential.


An Athena Activities Assistant would be responsible for:

  • Providing a high level of quality activities for our residents.
  • Always promoting dignity and respect.
  • Enabling as much independence as possible.
  • Working to the wishes of our residents and ensuring choice is offered.
  • Accurately and comprehensively recording all activities completed.
  • Engaging with residents in meaningful conversation.
  • Reporting any concerns to line manager.
  • Responding to residents needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Working to the Athena Visions & Values.

No experience necessary as full training will be given.

  • We also offer opportunities to develop your career, including NVQ at all levels.
  • Training courses available in addition to mandatory training.
