Permanent vacancy - Finance AssistantLocation - Kirkintilloch
Salary - £23,000 - £26,000
Working hours - 830am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Job description
- Work within the Purchase Ledger function ensuring accurate and complete posting of all purchase ledger transactions
- Matching purchase orders, goods received notes and supplier invoices
- Works closely with the Financial Controller to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the nominal ledger
- Review and challenge current processes and procedures and looks for continuous improvement
- Ad hoc admin work as required and other routine tasks
- Dealing with suppliers by phone managing queries/issues and escalating when required
- Key point of contact for payment queries
- Ensuring supplier data is accurate and updated on systems
- Ensuring creditors ledger is kept clean and resolving any issues
- Attend and participate in any relevant training courses
- Support Group Administrators when required / cover annual leave
- Scheduling colleagues out to work when administrator is on annual leave
- Sales Ledger
- Review & Control staff usage of Atlas system. Keeping up to date all Annual Leave, Absences & Task confirmation. Logging any issues which staff have in relation to using the platform and updating any out of date information held within the system
- Ensure all staff have holidays in approved in Atlas and processed
- Ensure all staff have contracts in place and issue of disciplinary paper work and other company policies when required
- Engineer Vehicle reporting ie servicing, MOT, repairs etc.
This job is finance focused but we are looking for someone who is happy to cover admin dutied when required.
