Senior Corporate/Funds Lawyer - Cayman Islands
This large offshore law firm is undergoing a period of sustained growth across its international network.

In the Cayman Islands this has created an opportunity for an experienced corporate/funds lawyer to significantly enhance their career while dramaticallychanging their life.


Joining at Senior Associate or for the right person Counsel level, you will take a lead role on a variety of high-value corporate/funds transactions, advising on the Cayman law elements of some of the biggest transactions in the offshore world.

You willwork closely with Partners on the firm's ongoing business development and client management efforts, as well as contributing to the training and development of more junior Associates in the team.

The firm has a clear route to progression and will provide theplatform, and the tools you need, to equip yourself well to capitalise on the opportunities that arise.

Outside of work, the Cayman Islands has a great deal to offer.

Its climate and beachside environment are perfect for an outdoor lifestyle of diving, sailing, water sports, or just relaxing with a drink in a waterfront bar.

It has all the buzz of an internationalfinancial centre and tourist destination, with a strong ex-pat community, but also lots of places where you can get away from it all and enjoy a more laid-back Caribbean lifestyle.

And, when you need a fix of city life (or just a shopping trip) you can bein Miami in an hour.

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience although it is stressed that more senior lawyers are encouraged to apply.
  • Admission in the United Kingdom or an equivalent Commonwealth jurisdiction (such as Australia, New Zealand or Canada).
  • A background in a leading law firm, doing either corporate, investment funds or a combination of the two.
