Job Description:

NEC Care, part of the NEC Health division, delivers the national diabetic eye screening programme.

Our mission, vision and values are to provide people-centric services that aim to improve the health and wellbeing of those we serve by working to achieveexcellence in service delivery.

We are commissioned by Public Health England to provide retinal screening on behalf of the NHS and our service is compliant with the National Service Framework (NSF) and National Screening Committee (NSC) guidance, standards, and objectives.

An opportunity has arisen to join the diabetic eye screening programme. We are looking for someone to join the screening team covering clinics throughout the County of Dorset.

Our screeners are the heart of NEC Care spending time on the ground, helping our patients. As a screener, you'll run local clinics for our patients and photograph their eyes to assess for diabetic retinopathy. We'll need you to be empathetic and able totalk to patients daily. You'll be supported undertaking your training, but once completed will be working largely unsupervised in a pressured environment, so a cool head is essential

Qualifications:

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to join the healthcare sector, with little to no experience, has a great sense of customer service and great interpersonal skills.
