Description

Lara search is in the search of a Classroom Assistant to join our team of educators. As a Classroom Assistant, you will work alongside the teacher to provide support and assistance in the classroom.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the classroom is a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the teacher in preparing and delivering lessons
Provide oneonone support to students who require additional help
Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to the teacher
Help to maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
Assist with classroom management and behavior management
Participate in parentteacher conferences as needed
Attend staff meetings and training sessions

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred
Prior experience working with children preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
Demonstrated commitment to student success and positive learning outcomes

Requirements:

Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
Previous experience supporting children or young adults with additional needs.
Available immediately to work as a Learning Support Assistant.
