The Trust supports you by offering a flexible shift system including twilight shifts and compressed hours to support working families and our staff parking is free on all our main sites.
You will be expected to provide support for the work of other members of the multidisciplinary team and signpost children, young people and families to appropriate support.

You can expect Continuing Professional Development (CPD) which is tailored to meet your professional development; individual CPD advice is available from our Practice Education Team.
The CPD offer includes the option to rotate within the Trust to widen your breadth of experience, skills and knowledge.
This is an exciting time in the Transformation of Children and Young People's Mental Health Services, and as one of the founding areas for this service, this role is a perfect opportunity to help shape the services we provide in North Staffordshire and The Moorlands in our Trailblazer schools.
Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) are part of the government's Mental Health Support Team's (MHST) plans for schools to provide early intervention mental health support.
- Delivering evidencebased intervention for children and young people in education setting with mild to moderate mental health problems
- Helping children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to rapidly access more specialist services
- Supporting and facilitating staff in education settings to identify and where appropriate manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing
