Description
Reporting to the Facilities Team Leader, the primary role is to assist with administration/practical support on bespoke projects. This includes maintenance inc.

decorating (painting), Health & Safety, space management, security, ensuring compliance withinlegislative requirements, assistance with the strategic review and development of the firm's health & safety policies and associated staff across multiple locations.


Key responsibilities will be:

  • General maintenance i.e. light bulb changes, decorating, carpet cleaning etc.
  • Overseeing meeting room support requirements, which include (but are not limited to):
  • Room layout changes
  • Liaising direct with staff and clients
  • Assist with offices moves
  • Access control upkeep which includes creating access cards
  • Assistance on facilities management helpdesk, where necessary
  • Daily kitchen upkeep i.e. stock check, replenishments (milk, tea, coffee etc).
  • Maintaining records and documentation in accordance with legislative requirements, office health & safety policies, permits and assessments
  • Car park management
  • Facilities administration
  • Scheduling training sessions, room set up and upkeep of spreadsheets including SelectHR Learning & Development Module
  • H&S roll out and completion of DSE assessments and pregnant worker assessments
  • H&S administration and formal record keeping
  • H&S training and inductions
  • H&S Accident investigation and replenishment of stock and upkeep of firm wide records
  • H&S upkeep and review of firm wide first aider list, nominations and records to include monthly checks in accordance with The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulation 198
  • H&S Upkeep and review of firm wide fire marshal list, nominations and records to include monthly checks in accordance with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Flexibility in approach and willingness to work outside normal office hours, if required
  • Good organisational skills and diary management
  • Maintenance experience
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to operate in a busy environment and work under pressure
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Willingness to attend other UK offices when required

Desirable:

  • Experience / knowledge of H&S requirements
  • Knowledge of building services functions
  • Driving licence
