Description

We are currently looking for two Finance Business Partners with previous experience working within a University.

Our client is regarded as a world class institution providing outstanding education to students across the globe.

The overall purpose of the role is to provide senior budget holders and project managers with accurate and timely management information aswell as sound strategic advice.

Day to day duties:

Support the efficient and effective delivery and presentation of management information
Lead meetings to advise senior stakeholders on the financial position of their budgets and projects
Assist in interpreting variances and agreeing followup measures where necessary
Prepare annual budgets, projections and yearend forecasting
Design and implement local reports to meet specific requirements
Assist in the preparation of the final accounts and external returns
Prepare and submit financial claims to funding bodies
Assist with yearend audit process
Provide training to both finance and nonfinance members of staff
To organise and deliver presentations as appropriate
Assist in the training, instruction and coaching of team members

Essential criteria:

CCAB part qualified as a minimum
Proven ability to liaise effectively with staff at all management and directorate levels
Good working knowledge of budgeting and forecasting issues and techniques
Strong IT skills including excellent excel
