The School is now looking to appoint a Year Leader to join its pastoral support team to ensure the effective pastoral care for a year group within the school.

It is expected that the post holder will take responsibility for a year group in the sixth form, although Year Leaders might be asked to work with any of the year groups within the School.

The post holder will oversee the welfare, attendance, behaviour, appearance and pastoral care of their year group.

They will be responsible for the academic progress of students in their year group, ensuring that appropriate pastoral care is provided, and lead and develop a team of Form Tutors.

This is a teaching role and there will be some teaching responsibilities.

Applicants should be an outstanding teacher with some experience of working within pastoral support systems to meet the needs of students.
