We are holding a Recruitment Open day on Tuesday 10th January at our Scotia Height's Complex Needs Care Home, Scotia Road, Stoke-on-Trent, ST6 4HA.
You can pop in throughout the day during the following times:
10.00am pm, 2.00pm -5.00pm and 6.00pm -7.00pm.
Recruiting for a range of roles including Health Care Assistants, Registered Nurses, Senior Nurses (Unit Managers), a Cook and a Kitchen Assistant

About Scotia Heights:

Scotia Heights supports 60 adults living with complex mental health needs, dementia and physical disabilities.
The home has six ten-bed units, which gives it a homely and welcoming feel.
Scotia Heights is rated 'Good' with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and has an average rating of 4.2 out of 5 on
Last year, the home's Clinical Nurse Manager won 'The Good Nurse Award' at the Great British Care Awards.


About the Role:

Your role will involve supporting people with all aspects of their day-to-day living, which may include taking up new hobbies, meeting friends, getting involved in social activities, going to the gym or looking their best


Your day-to-day duties will include:


  • Providing personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and on occasion, assisting with meal times
  • Promote independence, dignity, respect and choice across service users
  • Support social and recreational activities; both in and out the home individually, or as part of a group
  • Maintain care records; recording observations, activities and assessments
  • On occasion, welcome and train new members of your care team

As a Care Assistant, you'll provide person-centred care to support our service users to maximise their independence and live their best life.
