Create Education is recruiting graduates for primary, special needs and secondary schools in and around Wandsworth.

We are currently working with OFSTED Rated Good and Outstanding Schools who are looking to speak with enthusiastic and experienced Graduate Teaching Assistants for opportunities working with mainstream and SEN students.

Often, our schools will offer graduate teaching assistants opportunities to train as a teacher in their school setting whilst being paid after the completion of one year in a support role.

What type of jobs could you be doing?

In a primary school you could be supporting a teacher with the daytoday running of a classroom, working in small groups, assisting the learning and eventually delivering a lesson or 2 as a teaching assistant
In secondary schools you could be placed in a department where your knowledge and degree could best be put to use, maybe as a scientist support experiments, or maybe in PE helping coach and running classes.
You could be working 1 on 1 with pupils who need extra support with their learning because they have special educational needs. This could be a child with autism, Asperger's or PMLD.
It may be you work in secondary school as a pastoral mentor. This is where you'll support the school with children with challenge behaviour, being a guide to these pupils and helping them achieve their learning goals.

About you

A recent graduate or just about to graduate from a UK university
Willing to work full or part time between the hours of 8:30am 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Have a strong interest in working in education and exploring a future opportunities as a teacher
