Salary:
- Basic salary is £15.24ph with an additional shift allowance of 22% works out £18.59ph.
- Equates to over £42,000 per annum.
Key Objectives of the Role:
- Machine parts to drawing.
- Use measuring equipment (Micrometers, Vernier, Wall Thickness Meter, Surface Roughness gauge).
- Material Movements.
- Prepare cell for next job materials, tools drawings, route packs.
- Check/change tips as required.
- Check and monitor dimensions in process.
- Load parts and unload parts.
- Basic machine and coolant checks.
- Complete cell production documentation and bookings.
- Set the job and the machine parts.
- Adjust offsets and tooling as required.
- First off measurements
Essential:
- Machining working under +/.05mm.
- CNC Milling/Turning Experience.
- Understanding Fanuc CNC Controls.
- Apprentice Trained
- Read and understand drawings.
- Experience with machining Forgings.
- Manual Milling/Turning Experience.
- Forklift license/Overhead crane/lifting certification.
