Online Marketplace Assistants - FLEET, HAMPSHIRE
£11.44 per hour (£22,308 per annum) + benefits


Contract:
Permanent - Start date ASAP.


Hours:
Full time 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 08:00 -16:30 or 09:00 -17:30. (This is a new operation, in the future there will be a twilight shift and weekend work, on a rota basis, iso we are looking for flexibility)

We're looking for creative online marketplace assistants to work in Cancer Research UK's warehouse based, marketplace team.


You will support in all aspects of ecommerce marketplace which include stock receipt, discovery, photography and listing ,ensuring the timely upload of product listings across all marketplace sites, including eBay, ASOS Marketplace, Depop and Vestiaire.

You'll also support with the dispatch element of the process, which includes picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.

Please note this role is based in our Fleet Depot and will require a large amount of your shift working on your feet

What will I be doing?
Stock Receipt

  • Unpacking items from shops and sorting them into the correct categories
  • Updating and maintaining the stock inventory
  • Researching items, when required, to make sure they are appropriately valued to maximise income for the charity.
  • Ensure Gift Aid data is captured and processed correctly
Photography

  • Creating detailed product listing cards for each item in preparation for listings
  • Uploading detailed photos to listing software
  • Making sure all the correct images are captured to show each item at its full potential
  • Ensuring photography and brand guidelines are followed to give a consistent look to each marketplace
  • Working to set daily photography targets
Listing

  • Ensuring all listings have an accurate an enticing description
  • Using the correct key words are included in listing to attract customers
  • Ensuring the photography is up to standard and follows CRUK guidelines
  • Working to set daily listing targets
Dispatch

  • Prepare customer orders for dispatch this includes lifting and moving stock of different weight and sizes where appropriate
  • Picking, packing and sorting sold items within the dispatch department
  • Store new listed stock on hanging racks, shelving units, in the bin locations, and other allocated areas according to the organisational standards
  • Working to set daily dispatch targets

  • Proven data entry and administrative skills
  • Confident working online
  • The ability to work to daily targets whilst maintaining a high standard of work
  • Excellent eye for detail even when working under pressure

  • Proven ability to use own initiative

  • Experience of buying or selling on eBay or other online marketplaces
  • Photography experience
