The Mental Health East Admin Team offers a unique opportunity for an Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to work in a supportive environment based at St Michaels' Court, Lichfield.

The post holder will be a key member of the East Admin team whilst working closely with the Mental Health Clinicians at our St Michaels' Court Lichfield base, providing reception duties and cover at Horninglow Clinic, Burton on Trent when required at this busy clinic so professional and compassionate customer service is important.

Furthermore, our team prides themselves on creating a welcoming atmosphere, where everyone is valued and respected.

We provide regular supervision and appraisals to ensure that all staff have the support they need to develop their skills and progress in their careers.

You will be responsible for providing a quality administrative and reception service supporting pathway clinicians and managers, working in close co-operation with all staff groups and other medical professionals.

The needs of the service user will be the utmost priority. The principle of high quality customer care is at the heart of this role. Working within the service can at times be a stressful environment, by way of telephone calls, visitors, daily urgencies.

You need the ability to work under pressure, with conflicting demands at times with a requirement to work in other administrative areas as appropriate as directed by their line manager.

This Administrative Assistant / Receptionist role is varied - key skills would be strong customer service and communication, focus on quality and efficiency, confident in the use of Microsoft packages, using our clinical system RIO (training will be given) and creating letters/documents.
