The CPFT Falls Prevention Team has an opportunity for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner who is passionate about improving outcomes for older people at risk of falling.

This role will be a split post across 2 pathways:

  • supporting the Neighbourhood Therapy Teams in Peterborough and surrounding area with the delivery of the standard Falls Prevention pathway
- delivering the new Enhanced Falls Prevention program in Fenland.


This is a great opportunity for those who are keen to develop their skills in this specialist field and play a part in evaluating the effectiveness of the Enhanced Falls Prevention program.

You will be supported by the Falls Prevention Specialists and the Neighbourhood Therapy Teams.

As a countywide service, bases are negotiable to support the needs of both the successful applicants and the service. The post holders may be expected to provide cover countywide.

This post is permanent, but the funding for this role is currently available until March 2025.
