Due to increased growth, we have a great opportunity to join an experienced team of conference planners, event experts and venue specialists who are passionate about the event industry in a fully remote role

A very well established and well-respected agency, our client specialises in venue sourcing and logistics management.
The company has a real family feel, and everyone here is passionate about their venue knowledge.

Over the past 30 years they have developed relationships with thousands of large hotel groups, independent hotels and even some of the most unique and unusual venues all over the world.

This agency is consistently recognised by some of the most prestigiousawarding bodies across the event industry having won a variation of awards within the past 5 years

Their very consultative approach, coupled with in depth knowledge and experience within this specialist area, sets them apart from the competition.

THE ROLE
As Operations Director, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

Strategically move the division forward in procurement, operations, streamlining processes, standards and procedures
Achieving ongoing revenue, margin and qualitative objectives to compliment the overall growth strategy of the business
Evolve the venue finding proposition that exceeds customer expectations
Developing, coaching and leading a firstclass sourcing team
Providing a wide and rich knowledge of global venue and destinations
Encouraging the team to focus on delivering the right solution
Continuously grow and mentor individual team member expertise and knowledge
Driving a commercial focus to ensure they earn the most from every booking
Thinking in a consultive way and lead by operational excellence
Leading all venue finding strategy, with the use of insights and data
Challenging the team on how to hit annual margin targets
Monitor and drive robust procedures that mitigates risks to customers, partners and our business
Maintaining excellent partner relationships to enrich their venue finding proposition

THE CANDIDATE

In this role you must deliver successful team management and evolvement as well as taking accountability and ownership of company revenue.
