Are you immediately available and have experience in successfully developing and maintaining financial models?

Due to an ongoing project, an opportunity for an Accounting Technician has arisen to join a reputable business, based in the heart of Portsmouth on a 6-month temporary assignment.

The successful Accounting Technician will be offered remote working days, greatsector exposure, and the chance to be part of a 'family feel' culture within the workplace.

This opportunity will be working closely with the Finance Manager, providing support with ad hoc project-based work, whilst assisting in the preparation of the annual budgets.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for: - Budgetary control and monitoring of Business Unit budgets

Contributing to the preparation of financial accounts
Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of the annual accounts
Assist in the ongoing review of financial analysis
Contribution to the preparation of statutory accounts
Comply with companies policies and procedures
Liaising with budget stakeholders

What you will need:

The following experience: Assistant Accountant / Assistant Financial Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant / Financial Accountant / Accounts Assistant Management Accountant
Strong Excel skills
Exceptional communication skills
To be immediately available
