The post is a cleaner to work on our Secondary site, (Blythe Bridge).

You will work under the direction of the Senior Cleaner, you will be responsible for cleaning designated areas within the school, individually or as part of a team, to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

The hours required for this role are Monday-Friday 2pm-6pm._


Job Purpose

To maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the school on a daily basis.

This may include the following tasks:

  • Mopping
  • Sweeping
  • Vacuuming
  • Buffing
  • Polishing and dusting
  • Emptying of litter bins.

Portland School is a specialist provision for children and young people who experience social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

Our school caters for pupils aged 5 to 16 across two sites, the primary provision is based in Trent Vale and secondary provision in Blythe Bridge.
