My client in Yeovil are looking for an experienced inventory controller to come on board and join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a well known business with an excellent market reputation.

Your duties will include:

Warehouse assistant is responsible for overall stock maintaining and stock keeping
Responsible for receiving and recording and maintaining the status of all material POs from Procurement department.
Receipt of materials against the PO from various suppliers
Ensure all documentations are received along with the material delivery
Conduct inspection and acceptance/rejection of received materials
Record the receipt and allocate to relevant project/general inventories in the system
Arrange and store the materials in accordance with warehouse plan/procedure
Maintain stock of general consumables and items
Issue of materials based on requests (Store Issue Voucher) against relevant Project/Cost Centre
Maintain record of all transactions and issuance to various projects
Generate inventory reports weekly
Generate reconciliation reports monthly
Conduct annual stock taking and records
Maintain safe storage of chemicals and flammable materials
Control flow of shelf life items
Plan for the facility and effective utilization of available spaces
Supports production to issue material as per schedule, maintain stock (especially general stock) to avoid any delay due to shortages.
