Our client is internationally recognised and award-winning in their field.

Are you ambitious? Bright and looking for a challenge in a busy and professional environment? Our client, an established business based in Albrighton require an experienced Horticultural Worker in their breeding department on a permanent basis.

Experience and an appreciation of plants/horticulture is essential.


THE ROLE
The Horticultural Worker duties in the breeding department will include; rose hybridising, watering, seed sowing, seedling transplanting, potting, pruning, tractor driving, be aware of H&S matters and first aid, many other nursery practices, be responsible for tools and equipment as used
- their security, safety and safe use, report faults, failures and damage to management and always conduct themselves in a professional manner.


REQUIREMENTS:


The ideal Horticultural Worker will have experience of working in a manual fast paced environment, have a good degree of manual strength and physical fitness to meet the demands of the job, a willingness to learn on the go, enjoys a challenge, be motivated, enthusiastic and have an eye for detail.


COMPANY BENEFITS

25 days paid annual leave per year, plus Bank Holidays, hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm.

Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm, certain times of the year you are required to work a half day at weekend which is paid at time and a half.

£10.00-£10.76 per hour
