MFL Graduate Learning Support Assistant

March 2023 Start

Uxbridge, Hillingdon


A secondary school based in Hayes, Hillingdon are looking for a teaching assistant who has good English and good French/Spanish and is able support children with their learning needs.

You will need to be available to start for March 2023 and the school islocated close to bus and tube links.


You will be expected to work alongside children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to help improve progress of children up to the age of GCSE.

You will also be supporting children within the MFL department, specifically French and Spanish.

Your responsibilitieswill include carrying out assessments and observations as instructed by the teacher and adapting the support accordingly to the individual children and their needs.


Required Skills:


  • Able to read, write and speak French / Spanish or have a degree in French/Spanish
  • Qualifications needed GCSE and above.
  • Experience working with children in any setting.
  • Contribute an enthusiastic attitude towards learning.
  • Be proactive and professional.
