Interim Financial Controller | Fashion Designer | Temporary to permanent | £350 - £400 per day (inside IR35) | Hackney

A fast growth, SME fashion designer, based in East London, is looking to recruit a Financial Controller on an interim basis for a period of 6 months with an opportunity to become permanent.

You will be joining a business that has shown significant growthover the past 3 years including bringing on a junior team in finance and doubling in turnover.

Working as the number 1 in finance, you will report to the MD and Founder and you will have a vital role in managing the operational finance team as well as driving the commercial strategy to support the future growth of the business.

Responsibilities will include:

Management of a team of 2 including an Assistant Accountant and Credit Controller
Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, including working with the MD and heads of departments in the production of the annual budgets and monitoring budgets vs actuals
Overseeing the timely production of the monthly management accounts and monthend process
Responsibility for the cashflow forecasting and management of the longterm and shortterm cash
Responsibility for the month end
Working on a variety of commercial projects including providing valueadded reporting and analysis to help drive profitability across the business
Creating the 5 year finance strategy plan
Sales reporting and financial analysis
Stock management
Adhoc financial analysis and reporting
