Suttons Tankers are an innovative national tanker haulage business, that operates a nationwide road tanker fleet which has been successfully serving the chemicals, gas, fuels, waste, and powders sectors for over 60 years, and is the largest chemical transporter in the UK.

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Class 1 LGV
Fuel Driver to join our team based at Ellesmere Port, working 45 hours across Monday-Friday with alternating start times per week.

Pay Rates:

- £190 average pay per shift
- £18.00 per hour with 9 hour guarantee per shift
- £24.00 per hour overtime (applicable after 9 hours worked Monday-Friday)
- £24.00 per hour overtime for Saturdays
- £27.00 per hour overtime for Sundays
- £36.00 per hour for worked hours on Bank Holidays (plus day in lieu)
- £18.69 per afternoon shift worked
- £4.15 meal payment per shift

FULLY PAID BREAKS and paid ADR & CPC Refreshers

Essential Requirements:

An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
A tachograph card
A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
A valid ADR licence all classes other than 1 &
A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
A safety focus
Minimum 2 years Class 1 experience
At least 2 years Tanker Experience

A valid PDP (Petroleum Driver Passport)

The Package:

Expected earnings on these shift patterns are typically £850-£1,300 per week / £45,000 - £50,000 per year. Please note these figures are indicative earnings for this group, actual earnings will vary depending on the hours worked.

In addition, overtime is available, CPC training hours, courses and CPC accreditation and driver medicals are all paid for. Full PPE is provided.
