Description
A large UK wide manufacturer has started their search for an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer based in Central Scotland.

Within this role, you develop and drive continuous improvement strategies throughout the site and implementing solutions acrossdesignated processes and products.


Role

  • To develop the site continuous improvement actions with the goal of improving efficiencies and outputs
  • Plan and support Lean manufacturing events i.e. Kaizen events, 5S, Green and Yellow belts
  • Be a catalyst/facilitator for continuous improvement
  • Work closely with the NPI team in relation to new products/processes and their effective introduction to production
  • Support onsite training to ensure the validation of new/current employees
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Support other Production based activities where appropriate

Person

  • 6 sigma/green belt qualified
  • Manufacturing or engineering experience
  • Strong problem solver skills
  • Ability to analyse, look at practices and implement improvements
  • Excellent communication skills
