This is an exciting opportunity for a Ward Receptionist to join a friendly and hardworking team that are dedicated to the delivery of high quality safe care.

The post is based on the new Queens Admissions & Discharge Unit (QADU), based at Nottingham University Hospital, Queens Medical Centre Campus.

As the Ward Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors when entering the ward so a friendly, welcoming smile and excellent communication skills are essential.

As a caring and positive person, you will need to be able to work as part of an established team, have the ability to work flexibly and be committed to ensuring the smooth running of reception.

We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, content with working in a busy environment with the ability to work under pressure and who has good time management skills.

You must have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

It is essential that you act professionally at all times and promote the Trust's values & behaviours.
