LWS Services are proud to be the chosen recruitment partner for an award-winning nationwide recycling plant hire company, due to expansion they're now looking for an additional site-based Welder to join their rapidly expanding engineering team.

The Role:

The main purpose of this new role is to weld using Mig & Tig and plasma cutting along with some mechanical engineering assisting with maintenance and repair of the plant Hire such as shredders and screeners.

Skills & Experience Required:

Mig & Tig welding and plasma cutting.
Ideally with mechanical engineering skills as some maintenance and repair of the plant Hire such as shredders and screeners may also be required.
Knowledge of heavy plant will be essential and qualifications in welding and/or mechanical engineering would be a distinct advantage.

Starting salary of £38,000 basic plus overtime.
Holidays: 31 days (inc of bank holidays), plus enhanced scheme after 1 years' service and your birthday off each year.
Holiday buy and sell scheme.
Overtime: Offered outside core hours at 1.5 times basic rate.
Hours: 42.5 per week. Core hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm
