The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Branch Assistant to join our team at Jewson East Kilbride (G74 5BT)

This role is a part time position for (20 hours) per week.
This role is working with
Jewson East Kilbride part of the STARK Group. We are a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe.

What will I be doing in the role?

Our Branch Assistant is an important contributor to the performance of the business and to ensure our customers have a positive experience with us.

To support our customers effectively you will;

Maximising customer interactions to support achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and crossselling.
Booking in stock and general admin ad hoc duties, using internal IT systems.
Build strong, effective relationships with customers and suppliers, managing feedback accordingly
Ensuring all customer orders are fulfilled in a timely fashion
Serving customer on the trades counter
Managing stock and keeping the branch clean and tidy
