Clifton View Care Home requires a well-being / activity lead to enrich the lives of our residents.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 10am-4pm (hours and weekends may vary depending on events)


The successful applicant is required to have an empathetic, cheerful outgoing personality with creative skills that can make a difference to the lives of elderly people and people with dementia.

The role entails;

  • The provision of group or one to one activities to meet each resident's individual social and spiritual needs.
  • To assist in the organisation of events to celebrate cultural, spiritual, social or special occasions throughout the year.
  • To assist in organising fund raising events or initiatives to support the residents fund.
  • To develop a supportive relationship with residents and their relatives / friends.
  • The applicant must have the ability to work unsupervised, create a timetable of activities which are suitable for residents and manage time effectively.
  • To share information regarding residents with colleagues in order to promote individualised, person centred care.
  • To ensure that all relevant documentation is completed to evidence individual social, and spiritual needs are met.
  • To create monthly calanders to showcase planned activities
  • To keep the community involved via social media.
The successful applicant is required to provide an enhanced disclosure at their own expense.


Salary:
From £10.42 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff within care homes must be able to wear a face mask at all times.
