Behaviour Mentor - Isleworth
We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Pubil Referral Unit (PRU)

School in Isleworth as a Behaviour Mentor. The role as a Behaviour Mentor is supporting a child 1:1 basis in KS3. The role is a fulltime position from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm.

Experience working as a Behaviour Mentor would be ideal but you must have experience working with children in some form of capacity and be willing to support children with special needs

The Role:


  • Promote inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities as a Behaviour Mentor
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies consistently in line with the school's policy and procedures as a Behaviour Mentor
  • Communicate effectively and sensitively with pupils to adapt to their needs and support their learning as a Behaviour Mentor
  • Maintain a stimulating and safe learning environment by organising and managing physical teaching space and resources
  • Create a stimulating environment and motivate pupils with their learning

AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY AND FULLTIME:


  • Able to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 4pm
  • Exellent communication skills to communicate effectively with pupils and teachers as a Behaviour Mentor is vital
  • The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and remain calm under pressure as a Behaviour Mentor
  • As a Behaviour Mentor you will need a good understanding for building positive relationships with children

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
