  • Annual Leave:_
    _25 days plus 8 bank holidays pro rata per annum from 1st January to 31st December. This rises to 30 days pro rata over the next 5 years_
Citizens Advice Birmingham has partnered with Alzheimer's Society to deliver Welfare Benefits Advice for people living with dementia. This includes those with the condition and their carers.


We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support a new team of Welfare Benefits Caseworkers in delivering an income maximisation service.


You will be responsible for administrative functions pertinent to the service, including efficient appointment management, case recording and collation of statistical information.


Experience of planning, organising and prioritising your own workload, managing deadlines and a strong working knowledge of IT systems are essential.

Good interpersonal skills are required, and an empathetic and compassionate approach is important.

A basic Welfare Benefits awareness, including the ability to complete benefit checks would be an advantage.
