A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Bidvest Noonan for a Security Officer who will work at our client's prestigious Hospital in Tooting.

We require Officers to be SIA licenced -
Security Guarding/Door Supervision.
You will provide support to the Security Manager, Contract Manager and effectively manage Security Operations on site.


DUTIES

  • Manage the planning, coordination, allocation and supervision to make sure that all tasks are completed
  • Ensure that onsite training programmes are conducted, documented and assessed to include the appraisal and supervision of security personnel
  • Carry out investigations as directed
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and incidents
  • Patrols of the trust grounds and property both internal and external
  • Securing and checking of doors, windows and possible access and egress routes
  • To challenge all persons found unescorted in secure areas not wearing an Identity Badge

JOB ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • SIA Licence (Door Supervision, Security Guarding or Close Protection)
  • To be confident and comfortable working within a Mental Health environment. You must be able to show the appropriate calm and confident attitude to all Staff, visitors and patients
  • Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
  • Good communication skills with the ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
  • An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity in relation to visitor's needs

Up to £12.15 per hour
