Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with a management and production company producing film, television and content, representing actors, writers, directors, comedians, presenters, producers, casting directors and media book rights, with officesin London.
Based in Central London and are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their dynamic team.Due to continued growth and success, this position has arisen through expansion. This role will suit an individual an Accounting/Numerate related degree and studying towards their ACCA/CIMA.
The successful individual will be career focused, enthusiastic, possess great communication skills and have strong working knowledge of Excel.

Responsibilities
Financial Accounting:
- Prepare monthly analysis of receipts, payments, revenues, agency commissions and VAT
- Upload journal postings to accounting system
- Review individual client accounts, investigate discrepancies and post adjustments to rectify accounts
- Prepare bank reconciliation of client accounts
Accounts:
- Record daily client receipts to allow client payments team to prepare payments
- Liaise with managers and customers to obtain and investigate remittances as required
Payments:
- Preparing client statements and submitting to client teams for review
- Setting up domestic and international payments and transfers in the bank
- Prepare and submit monthly agency payments for approval
- Deal with queries, liaising with agents/clients/accountants and providing information as requested
- Raise invoices on behalf of clients, in line with job sheets or at request of client team
- Additional tasks from time to time as requested by Client Payments Lead
Person Specification
- Studying (or working towards studying) CIMA/ACCA professional accountancy qualification
- Have a strong academic record with first degree 2:1 or above
- Able to demonstrate strong financial understanding and attention to detail
- Organised, selfmotivated, and focused on constantly improving (self and processes)
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the organisation
- A positive character with opinions you are not afraid to voice
- Motivated to be part of an exciting, growing business and the drive to become a key player in taking the business forward
