Open-Ended Contract - Permanent: Full Time - 35 hours per week.
We are looking for a L ecturer in Greek Literature and Philosophy


The Opportunity:


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • A PhD in Classics or a related field
  • Proven ability to teach ancient Greek language and literature at all levels, including prose composition.
  • A research specialisation in ancient philosophy (broadly conceived, any period), and proven ability to teach specialised, researchled modules in this area.
  • Portfolio of excellent research, including in the form of recent or forthcoming publications, commensurate with career stage.
  • Evidence of potential or experience of attracting external funding, commensurate with career stage.
