Job description
New Forest District Council are seeking an enthusiastic and well organised person to work within the busy Housing Options Team which is responsible for the Council's housing allocations, homelessness and housing advice services.

Duties will include:
- Allocating a priority banding to applicants
- Writing and sending accurate written communication
- Dealing with telephone queries and face to face visitors to the Council
- Monitoring response deadlines and meeting specified targets
Person Specification:
Essential
Demonstrable ability to use IT systems and MS Office
The ability to work on your own initiative, organise your caseload and seek guidance when required
The ability to work under pressure and deal with sensitive issues.
The ability to interpret complex information
The ability to make sound decisions and exercise sound judgement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
