A large nursing home in Carlisle is looking for their forever Home Manager.

Well not forever, although it could be, as they do take good care of their own.

Part of a small portfolio with a family feel, the home is being handed over in good shape.

There is some work to do so you need to be confident and enjoy marketing and building links with the community and also the local authority.


This role would suit someone who is seeking to work with an employer which is well established and is focused on that family-feel experience in their homes.

Here, you are very much seen as an individual, not just one of the numbers. The senior management team knows all of their Home Managers personally, and your well-being is their priority. This cascades down into all they do. You will receive lots of support,the Directors have recently invested in technology enhancements throughout their homes.


If you are:


  • Someone who has experience of managing a larger home already (60+ beds)
  • You could be a registered nurse, although this is not essential if you have the experience of managing a larger home
  • Level 5 qualification would be desirable but not essential, however you must be willing to work towards if you don't already hold this
  • Perhaps you have multisite management experience, but are looking to be in one fixed location

In return, the role attracts:

- £75,000+ salary

  • Bonus scheme
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
