The objective of the Jetvac Operator/Driver role is to safely carry out jetting and tankering tasks whilst operating 7.5t whilst carrying out routine or reactive sewer cleanses, undertaking CCTV surveys of drainage systems to maintain, asses, diagnose and determine the most appropriate solution.
- Work with area operations to own and deliver a monthly jetting plan to cover site standards and routine sewer cleansing.
- Operate tankers / Jetters in a professional manner in order to project a positive image of Severn Trent Services (STS) to the general public.
- To operate the vehicle in compliance with road transport legislation and STS policies and procedures.
- Manage personal workloads to ensure maximum flexibility, productivity and effective time management.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained in a clean & roadworthy condition both internally & externally.
- Liaise with other departments including Engineering, Control Centre and Operations & Maintenance.
- Potential of participating in an outofhours operational standby rota.
- Operate assets across the region.
- Working within Confined Spaces and Working at Heights.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE
A full driving licence with C1 is essential.
It would also be really good if you had previous experience of working in the water/wastewater industry and a good working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.

- Salary of up to £27,000 (dependent on experience)
- Annual bonus scheme of up to 15% of your annual salary, based on company performance)
