What you need to know about the role


This role will see you supporting Team Leaders within a manufacturing unit to achieve optimum levels of production, plant operational targets, product quality, customer service and health and safety objectives.


You will need to be reactive to process, engineering, quality and safety issues as they arise and utilise your knowledge, experience, skills and work with other team members to initiate corrective action.

Whilst bringing new ideas and suggesting improvements to plant, process and operating procedures to the Team Leader.


You will be expected to participate and actively contribute in team activities utilising appropriate process, technical and engineering skills to achieve manufacturing, quality and service targets.


As part of this role you will need to contribute to initiatives related to improving health & safety performance, taking an active part in risk assessment/hazard identification for all plant/operational activities and taking account of appropriate regulations.

You will need to have appropriate experience in the operating unit, be a team player with a flexible and adaptable approach.


You will also need to be able to demonstrate effective problem solving skills and possess in-depth knowledge of manufacturing principles.
