Job Title:
Senior Accountant


Salary:
£45k-£50k


Location:
Burnham

My client is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. You will need to be Qualified or part-qualified accountant.

This is a fast-paced role where you will need to be extremely confident in preparing accounts and reviewing the work of other seniorstaff.


Duties:


  • Preparation of Corporation Tax computations
  • Be the first point of contact for allocated clients, responding to various client enquiries in an accurate and timely manner
  • Develop an ongoing, effective relationship with clients and ensure retention of clients
  • Working within a team to ensure deadlines are met and be able to work independently
  • Accounts preparation for SME clients (FRS 102 Section 1a & FRS 105)
  • Advising clients on salary and dividends

Attributes:


  • Be a qualified, partqualified or qualified by experience accountant
  • Have a solid experience of accountancy software e.g. Sage, IRIS, FreeAgent, Kashflow and other online bookkeeping software
  • Have a minimum of 8 years practice experience
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be an amiable team player
  • Be highly organised with attention to detail
