As an Emergency Team assistant you will work closely with the MDT to provide high quality care to patients within the emergency environment.
This is an essential role to the department, undertaking patient observations, phlebotomy and cannulation, ECGs and escalating concerns.You will need good communication skills and enthusiasm for providing the best patient care possible in a challenging environment.
- To assist and support the registered nurse, under supervision, with the delivery of direct patient care, with the needs of the patient at the centre of care delivery.
- To improve the patient experience.
