P+S Personnel are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our clients who are currently seeking a Part Sales Representative to join their team based in Essex on a full time, permanent basis.


Role Summary:


  • As a Parts Sales Representative you will be responsible for visiting distributors, trade outlets, shops and body shops to promote the group and parts stock, maximising sales and profit by ensuring customer relation is authentic and consistent.
  • You will use essential selling skills to keep the customers engaged and build rapport with all relationships formed outside of the business. You will also support the Parts Department overall by assisting when needed.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Present, promote and sell products and services using expert selling skills and knowledge to all existing and prospective customers.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and following through on customer queries to maximise sales.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets consistently and on schedule.
  • Drive customer awareness of all the company's products and services available and encourage the purchase of additional products in a genuine manner.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction.
  • Keep up to date with best practice and endorsements, promoting where needed to existing and potential customers.
  • Analyse the market potential, track sales and status reporting.
  • Perform costbenefit and potential analysis of existing and potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team member and other departments within the company.

Person Specification:


  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative with a passion for the products being sold.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Familiar with BRM and CRM practices along with the drive and ability to build productive and professional business relationships.
  • Highly motivated, target driven individual with a proven record in delivering sales.
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Time management and organisational skills are essential.
  • Strength in managing relationships and openness to feedback.
