About the role:


As a Security Specialist, Information & Analysis, you will undertake collection and processing of information & analysis on Europe, West and Central Africa and Maghreb & Sahel to provide timely security assessments and advice to International SOS' clients and internal stakeholders.


Key responsibilities:


  • Collect and process security information on Europe, West and Central Africa and Maghreb & Sahel through allsource research, processing and analysis ensuring clientfacing security standing information is up to date, relevant and reflective of the current situation.
  • On a rostered basis, support other global regions in the identification of, alerting clients and internal stakeholders to, relevant highimpact, timesensitive security events.
  • Collaborate extensively with the Content Services professional community of researchers, multimedia specialists and editors to deliver a shared vision of audiencecentric and multimedia digital production.
  • Report and escalate security or disruption issues affecting International SOS' clients in line with reporting guidance and thresholds.
  • Conducting research into specific securityrelated questions in order to maintain operational planning and readiness as required by inform International SOS' operational posture.
  • As required, deliver safety and security trainings and workshops as well as engage in client specific security intelligence consultancy tasks as required

About you:


  • Proven experience in security intelligence or related field: military, government, NGO, journalism; relevant academic studies.
  • Experience handling geopolitical analysis within Europe, West and Central Africa and Maghreb & Sahel.
  • International work experience is desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain complex situations to nonexpert audiences.
  • Ability to critically analyse multiple streams of information under time pressure and produce actionable insights.

Qualifications:


  • Degree or relevant professional training in a field related to security, risk management, international politics or international relations.
  • Master's degree in a similar field is a plus.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Advanced professional proficiency in French, Spanish, Italian, German or another regional language preferred.
