About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Services Specialist to join our award-winning business.

The primary role of the Cloud Service Specialist is to take the technical lead on projects associated with all Cloud PAAS services and to ensure the ongoing maintenance and effective operation and development of these services.


The Cloud Service Specialist needs to be able to work independently on projects and engage with other team members drawing on the expertise of the wider technology team and partners to design, implement and maintain high-quality cloud services.


Experience

  • 6+ years of IT experience
  • 3+ years of IT experience in a Cloud administration role
  • Relevant Microsoft Certification preferred
  • Knowledge

Practical/technical knowledge:

Working knowledge of underlying infrastructure, networking, and client devices

Knowledge of architectural and design theories and principals

Working knowledge of security principals

Strong technical knowledge of administering Azure Services, Azure AD, M365 services, and Exchange.

Extensive technical knowledge of Endpoint MDM (Intune) planning, development, and administration

Extensive technical knowledge of Windows, Mac, iOS and Android

Strong technical knowledge of administering Azure Virtual Desktop, Enterprise Applications, PowerShell, Conditional access, MAM, Azure Workbooks, Software Packaging

Knowledge of administering Cloud and On-Premise telephony

Good knowledge of IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS Azure Compute

In-depth knowledge of Business Processes and Systems.

Strong problem-solving abilities.

An understanding of Azure DevOps practices

Planning, integrating, and implementing cloud systems and solutions


Planning, organising & integrating:

Strong time management skills

Ability to plan out tasks to achieve specific goals and deliver them to set timelines

Ability to work in Agile Methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban


Communicating & influencing skills:


Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of explaining simple procedures in writing or verbally with all levels of management and staff.
