Vibe Recruit is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Upholsterer.

Our client is a leading furniture and upholstery manufacturing company based in Aberdare, who currently require an experienced Upholsterer to join their expanding business.


Hours:
Mon-Thurs 7.30am -4.30pm. Friday 7.30am-12.30pm


Pay rate:
£11.32, with bonus opportunities of over £200 per week


Weekly pay.

Responsibilities:


  • Cover furniture frames with padding and fabric, using stitching, staples, tacks or glue.
  • Make soft furnishings like cushions. add trimmings like piping, fringing and buttons.
  • Remove old upholstery and repair frames before reupholstering.
  • Design, measure, cut and fit fabrics to furniture frames

Skills:


  • 2 years of proven work experience as an upholsterer or similar role
  • An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately
  • Ability to interpret and work from drawings and designs
  • Knowledge of woodworking and upholstery techniques
  • Experience in using hand and power tools
  • Good organisational skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm

From £11.32 per hour
