Oxfordshire Sexual Health Services provide a comprehensive sexual health service, including HIV care, to people attending our outpatient clinics in different locations across Oxford.

The health advisors belong to a small, friendly team and work closely with other disciplines in the department.


Health advisors provide the advice and guidance including psycho-social support, information, safeguarding, risk reduction and health promotion to a wide range of individuals seeking sexual health services.

They are strongly encouraged to become involved with service development, clinical audit and undertake projects as necessary.


Applicants should be non-judgemental, enthusiastic and motivated individuals; they should have excellent communication skills and enjoy working independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

We are seeking experienced individuals to join the health advisor team.

A relevant degree is required and advanced counselling skills are desired, if you think that you can contribute towards the work and development of Oxfordshire Integrated Sexual Health Services we would love to hear from you.

Trainee positions will be considered staring at band 5 and progressing to band 6 upon successful completion of training.
