Finance Business Partner - Fixed Term Contract
Search are engaged with a well known and national Charity to appoint a new Finance Business Partner. This organisation has a fantastic reputation and regularly run campaigns across the UK.


Your role as Finance Business Partner will sit within an efficient and friendly finance that team that is already well established.

You will already have previously partnering experience and will be the main finance point of contact to all areas of the business out with finance.

It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence decision makers.


Duties:


  • Liaise with and advise the Senior Management Team on all aspects of finance ad assist with strategic decisions
  • Contribute towards the production of board papers
  • Develop and manage good relationships with budget holders
  • Hold regular facetoface meetings with stakeholders
  • Assist with the preparation of forecasts and funder reports
  • Identify and implement efficiency, process and cost improvements across the business
  • Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts packs alongside the Finance Manager
  • Provide compliance and procurement support as required
  • Partner with the CFO and Finance Manager to ensure accurate forecasting and understanding of opportunities and risks
  • Partner with business areas to manage budgets and achieve performance KPIs
  • Promote the use of data and analytics across the business to drive informed business decisions
  • Ensure team completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with the audit process and the preparation of statutory accounts
  • Support the Finance Manager with the training of new budget manager

Requirements:


  • Qualified accountant or qualified by significant experience
  • Experience within a Finance Business Partnering role
  • Previous management experience is highly desired
  • Relevant budgeting and strategic advisory experience
  • Excellent communicator able to liaise with senior stakeholders internally and externally
