We are seeking a skilled and accomplished Senior Procurement Manager / Buyer to join our client's growing team based in Twickenham.
As the lead buyer for materials and plant, you will play a crucial role in negotiating cost-effective building materials while ensuring timely delivery of the right quality and quantity to the project site.
Collaborating closely with contract managers and other stakeholders, you will foster strong relationships and ensure that all sub-contractors have the necessary information to provide compliant and timely quotations.
-Key Responsibilities:_
- Negotiate costeffective deals for building materials, maintaining quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with contract managers and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
- Develop and nurture relationships with subcontractors, facilitating timely and compliant quotations.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:_
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree or CIPS accreditation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Selfmotivated and hardworking with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
