We are hiring Sales Support and Facilities Administrator to join our Avnet team in Maidenhead, this is a full time position with four days office based and one day home based.


This is an ideal role for someone with strong administration skills and who enjoys variation and has strong collaboration skills.

You will spend part of your time, supporting activities such as processing expenses, arranging travel, ordering and keeping stock of office supplies and stationary as well as meeting and greeting visitors to site when required.

The remainder of your time will be spent providing administration support to the internal sales team, with activities including but are not limited to processing credits, problem solving as hoc queries, quoting and processing orders.


Given the nature of the role, our new team member will be comfortable managing multiple activities and able to put both internal and external customers at ease quickly and with confidence.

Our customers (internal or external) know what we do and our business is built on long term relationships and as such, we work to understand our customers' requirements, get to know them and go the extra mile to ensure we can be called upon when they need us.

You do not need to know about electronic products in this role, however if you are results driven, passionate about being in a role where you can help to create the future, support and build strong relationships then you could be joining our amazing team

Do you have?

  • Experience managing multiple tasks and working towards deadlines
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • A passion for talking to people, good customer service and sourcing the best solutions to problems.
  • The ability to build excellent long term relationships at various levels within the business.
  • A Knowledge of Microsoft packages, specifically Excel for problem solving, formulas, VLOOKUP's, analysis, formatting and manipulation of data.
  • Excellent English (written and spoken)
