The Role:


  • Vita Minds BNSSG are expanding the Long-Term Conditions Pathway to meet the needs of Persistent Physical Health Symptoms within the local area. We work in partnership with local health care providers on providing care for those identifying with Physical Health Conditions and seeking treatment for depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
  • The overview of the role is to provide treatment for those entering the IAPT service who have had emotional impact from the onset or maintaining symptoms of physical health conditions.
  • It is an exciting opportunity to work in a new area of Long-Term Conditions/MUS and contribute to the developments of the service and cultivating links with health care providers to provide wider service within the BNSSG.
Vita Minds are aiming to recruit one full time post.


Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • HI-Intensity Therapists
  • Postgraduate Diploma in CBT.
  • Willingness to attend IAPT LTC training or have IAPT-LTC training
  • Accreditation with BABCP
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion

Desirable:

  • Experience of using ACT or EMDR
  • Working within a Long-Term Condition pathway
