Are you looking for a challenging but rewarding role in health care?


We are looking to recruit warm, compassionate, caring, hard working individuals to join our friendly, motivated and dynamic team in Trauma and Orthopaedic and have posts in the University Hospital of Llandough.


Health care support workers are essential and valuable members of the multidisciplinary team supporting the Qualified Nurses and Medical staff in providing holistic care to patients.


If you aspire to be a qualified nurse then this is an opportunity for you to understand the important role that Health care Support Workers undertake in caring for patients.

If this is the case, we can provide support, experience and guidance on your journey to become a registered nurse.

Applicants must possess good communication skills, have a pleasant personality and be committed to patient care.


You will be expected to undertake but not inclusive of:

  • Providing assistance with personal care
  • Recording and reporting of vital signs
  • Assisting with nutrition intake
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full education, and training will be provided.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
