Electrical Team Leader:


What you need to know about the role


We're looking for Electrical Team Leaders on days to support manufacturing team at the Scunthorpe Rail and Section Millat the Scunthorpe site.

You will work to achieve plant operational/workshop targets, product quality, customer service and health and safety objectives.


You will be part of a multi-disciplined team, ensuring the most effective engineering service is provided to our manufacturing customers.

Reporting directly to the respective Maintenance Engineer for the area you will be designated.


Using your skills to achieve business objectives, you will react to engineering, quality, and safety issues as they arise and utilise your knowledge, experience, and skill to initiate corrective actions.

The role will see you record details of your work activities, using the appropriate information systems.

What we need to know about you


To be considered for this position you
must be qualified to a minimum NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in a relevant electrical trade or have served a recognised apprenticeship*.


Ideally you will have experience of electrical maintenance and fault finding within a commercial or heavy engineering environment, essential to the role is the ability to adapt to new equipment.

You must be flexible, have a desire to learn and develop.


Knowledge of steelmaking, and Allen Bradley PLCs would be beneficial but is not essential, as extensive training will be provided.
